From June 25 to June 27, 2024, the 2024 Transport Logistics China (tl-c) was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). WallTech showcased its two major products, CargoWare and eTower, at the 2024 Transport Logistics.
With the logistics market in China continuously ranking first globally for several years, the robust growth of China's logistics industry has attracted worldwide attention and driven innovation and development across the entire sector. Against this backdrop, the 2024 Transport Logistics China reached a historic scale. The three-day event, covering an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, comprehensively showcased new developments across the entire industry chain, including nine major themes: comprehensive logistics services, air freight, port and shipping logistics, road and rail transport, logistics real estate, fresh supply chain/cold chain logistics, smart logistics/IT information systems, logistics equipment, and specialized vehicles. It has become a "strong engine" for promoting international exchange and cooperation, gaining insights into the future trends of the industry, sharing "Asian opportunities" and "China opportunities," and connecting global markets.
The theme of this year's exhibition, "Logistics Changes Life," attracted 794 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions and approximately 36,000 professional visitors from 92 countries and regions worldwide, with nearly 40% of the exhibitors being international. Compared to 2023, these numbers represent a 19% and 37% increase, respectively.
This year's exhibition was led by Fortune 500 companies and domestic leading enterprises, with international renowned logistics companies competing to participate. These included: China National Foreign Trade Transportation Corporation (Sinotrans), China Railway Container Transport, CRRC Corporation, COSCO Shipping, China Postal Airlines, JD Logistics, Cainiao, China Railway Special Cargo, RTSB, Kalway, Hefei Logistics Group, Chengdu Port Investment, Kazakhstan Railways, UTLC, DB Cargo, German Port Group, Saudi Ports Authority, FESCO Group, Hongyun Logistics, China-Europe Railway Express, Baowan, SF Express, and Aerospace Era. They showcased advanced services, cutting-edge concepts, and innovative technologies, presenting safe, efficient, and green logistics solutions to the industry.
The exhibition brought together a "superstar" lineup from the global air freight industry, including China Postal Airlines, Cathay Pacific, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Cargolux, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Changi Airport, Pudong Airport Cargo Terminal, Boeing, and Skyways, among other globally renowned airlines, airports, and air freight service providers. They showcased innovative models and service capabilities centered on sustainability, digitalization, and safety to cargo owners, creating more opportunities for cooperation. The "World Air Cargo Awards" 2024, selected by the renowned air freight magazine Air Cargo Week, were also ceremoniously announced on-site.
He Ying, Cathay Pacific's China Cargo Director, had many insights from the exhibition. She stated, "This year is our first time participating in the Asia Air Freight Expo. Not only did we meet many new friends, but we also felt the industry's key trends of digitalization and sustainability reflected throughout the exhibition."
