In February 2017, WallTech (China) Co., Ltd. officially entered into a partnership with Japan Post. By July of the same year, the cross-border direct mail business, with TOLL as the core, was fully launched, marking a significant milestone for WallTech as another national postal service joined their eTower platform, following the earlier success with Australia Post.
About TOLL
TOLL Holdings Limited (referred to as TOLL) boasts a 125-year history and operates a vast global logistics network centered in Australia. This network spans more than 50 countries and over 1,200 operational sites worldwide. In 2015, TOLL became a part of Japan Post Group, further solidifying its position as a leading platform enterprise in international integrated logistics. TOLL is structured into three main divisions: express services, freight services, and logistics services, offering a diverse range of transportation and logistics solutions by land, sea, and air to meet the needs of global supply chains.
Strategic Partnership with WallTech
In 2017, TOLL Global Forwarding (Hong Kong) Limited, a subsidiary of TOLL, took over from Japan Post as the investor in Postal (China) International Logistics Co., Ltd., renaming it to Toll International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. As the largest importer of parcel logistics services in Japan, Toll International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has partnered with Japan Post to deliver top-tier services that cater to the diverse demands of the market. Within just four years, the company has developed three key service offerings: cross-border parcels, cross-border small packages, and international general air cargo. In July 2017, they officially teamed up with WallTech to launch eTower, WallTech's cross-border e-commerce logistics collaboration platform.
