China Post small parcel is also known as China Post Air Mail, postal parcel. It refers to the parcel which weighs less than 2kg, the sum of the length, width and height of the outer parcel is less than 90cm, and the longest side is less than 60cm and is sent abroad by the air mail service of China Post.
The parcel includes both registered and surface mail services, which can be delivered to all postal outlets around the world. Tracking Unregistered China Postal Parcels
Unregistered China Postal parcels usually have 13 alphanumeric characters (UG533573760CN), starting with the letter U. The parcels can be tracked only after they have passed through China Post. Unregistered parcels are only traceable during transit through China. Once the parcel is exported to its destination, it cannot be tracked because it is an economic delivery and the parcel is not registered at the transit point. The only exception is Kazakhstan's postal service, KazPost, which supports tracking of unregistered mail entering Kazakhstan.
Parcel delivery requirements
1. Specification Limit: weight does not exceed 2KG
-Non-cylindrical goods: length + width + height ≤90CM, unilateral length ≤60CM, length ≥14CM, width ≥9CM;

About the compensation
For registered parcels, once it is confirmed that they are lost, you can claim compensation from China Post. China Post will assess the value of the goods and pay compensation. Usually you can get two or three times the shipping cost. The registration fee is non-refundable.
For regular mail, you will not receive any compensation.
